Small Supplier Project

The Show Me Food Safety Small Supplier Project is aimed at small farmers and manufacturers that are trying to increase the food safety at their facilities, but do not have the resources to do so. Show Me Food Safety will donate resources such as consultation visits, monetary items, equipment, free training, etc. to sites that meet the criteria set forth by Show Me Food Safety. Sites will fill out an application to give background on their company and to demonstrate why their site deserves the donation.

Small Supplier Criteria

To be eligible for the Show Me Food Safety Small Supplier Project your company must meet the following criteria:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to food safety and quality as a small business
  • Employ fewer than 50 full-time employees total and/or average less than $500,000 per year
  • Submit the application as instructed below

Application Process

Applications are now being accepted for small farmers and food manufacturers. All applications will go through a review process by our Board of Directors to determine if your company falls within the small supplier criteria.
